What is LOOP?
SOLAR GENERATION | Free solar power is generated from roof or ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. Panels don't require hot climates to produce lots of power, just daylight.
POWER APPLIANCE & MACHINERY DIRECTLY FROM THE SUN | Power generated by the solar panels passes through the LOOP inverter system directly to your appliances & machinery, drastically reducing your requirement to buy expensive power from the grid.
LOOP BATTERY | Any surplus power left over after you appliances & machinery requirements is diverted to the storage battery to be released back into the premises when required at night time or in times of peak load when demand exceeds solar generation.
AUXILIARY LOADS | Once all power requirements in the building are met and the batteries are fully charged, any further excess power is diverted to auxiliary loads to further increase savings and minimise grid import/export & carbon emissions.

Grid import costs can be further reduced by using LOOP for load shifting, this is achieved by taking low-cost off peak power from the grid into the LOOP battery and releasing this power into your premises during peak buy in times.
With some re-configuration of your existing switchgear, it is also possible to use LOOP as a UPS backup system to provide power to essential critical loads in times of grid failure.

About Us
LOOP was created from necessity, there is a huge and growing demand for commercial battery & storage systems as energy costs increase and lower carbon emissions become a requirement for many industries. At the same time, the battery storage, solar & wider electronics industry are facing well documented supply issues with a lack of semi-conductors & precious metals, shipping issues and a global pandemic. The impact of these issues on us as installers and our clients is that many packaged solar & storage manufacturers who use specific components based on historic pricing are unable to deliver on their promises due to their own procurement issues. Further to this if any issues arise, there is a lack of parts & resources to resolve promptly.
To overcome these issues we have engineered our LOOP system with premium components only from long-established, industry leading manufacturers such as SMA, Victron & BYD and importantly every single component is an off the shelf item. If supply issues arise for any component we can quickly and easily swap out for another high quality component. If any errors occur in the system over time, we know every component in the system intimately as we have designed and built the system, again we can rectify the fault immediately rather than waiting for a third party supplier to respond.
